Category-specific buying checks
- Identify licensing, year and manufacturer.

- Do not treat every box from the same year as equivalent.
Provenance and tamper risk
Factory boxes, sealed cases, sleeved boosters, blisters and graded packs can offer different evidence. Loose packs may be legitimate, but should not be priced as if they have the same provenance as an untouched sealed box.
